Are you ready for an opportunity to enhance your career prospects? The Employment Skills Center’s “I’LL SUCCEED” program can help improve your workforce skills, obtain credentials, boost your resume and open the doors to career and educational opportunities.
“I’LL SUCCEED” is a FREE work readiness program offered in collaboration with the South Central Workforce Investment Board. Classes will begin Monday, March 24, 2014 and will conclude on Thursday, April 10. Class will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The core curriculum consists of computer and customer service training, resume writing, interviewing skills and team building. Much of the class is also geared towards sharpening workplace reading and math skills. Students prepare for and have the opportunity to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate that shows prospective employers concrete evidence of their skills. Most of our “I’LL SUCCEED” participants walk out with the tools and confidence necessary to find a job or to continue their education.
