“Wordy Worm” and the Buck a Book Committee are busy planning another exciting Buck a Book Literacy Campaign for 2015! The campaign is scheduled to kick off on January 12, 2015 with the Buck a Book Literacy Fair and Pep Rally at the Swartz Auditorium.
The Buck a Book Literacy Campaign raises funds for adult literacy programs while inspiring K-5 students in the Carlisle Area School District to read and get involved in the community. Buck a Book Kids read lots of great books while gathering pledges of support for adult literacy. All money collected helps fund adult education programming provided to the community by the Employment Skills Center
Local businesses, organizations, and individuals can sponsor the campaign by donating books, funds, and incentive prizes. With their help, all money raised by our Buck a Book Kids goes directly to adult literacy and adult education programs. Sponsors and donors are recognized as our partners in the campaign for community literacy.
