Our Basic Carpentry Students wrapped up one week of workplace skills training and a week of hands-on carpentry training on July 29. Their class project was building a new Santa House for the Downtown Carlisle Association. Cody Ebersole of CodyZ Academy provided instruction and expertise with his mobile carpentry workshop. The Tuckey Companies provided project management and planning, and Lowe’s provided supplies and a set of starter tools for our graduates. This program was funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant secured through Carlisle Borough and managed by the Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Great job, guys!
