Employment Skills Center has received a generous grant for $5,000 through Partnership for Better Health in support of our newest project – Success Academy for women and girls. The grant will support certifications that are achieved through the program and will assist with the purchase of an AED unit and trauma kits for Employment Skills Center.

Success Academy will begin in May 2021. The multi-week program is designed to help women gain personal and professional skills to assist them in creating new career paths. Success Academy features workplace skills seminars, personal enrichment classes, offers certificates for in-demand skills, and allows women to explore small business development opportunities. Participants will develop personalized goals and receive individual career coaching and mentoring throughout the program and beyond.
